Knight of Humility

A knight…A protector… A servant who fights darkness in order to uphold all that is good in this world. One who faces many challenges and battles through them, growing in strength and character each time.  

Tests! Life's challenges! Why do we have them? They make the heart ache, they push us to breaking point…We may even feel like we are breaking. Our heart suffers because we love so much.

“But inasmuch as the divine Purpose hath decreed that the true should be known from the false, and the sun from the shadow, He hath, therefore, in every season sent down upon mankind the showers of tests from His realm of glory.”  - Baha’u’llah

The knight reminds me of these challenges, but with his armour, he can face anything and not be harmed. His heart remains protected. He remains firm and he withstands the severity of the storm.

So what is this armour the Knight wears, what is this golden sheild crowning his helmet, the red feathers and between, a blue sapphire stone? This Knight stands so well protected. He stands in Righteousnous and in honour to Truth and Justice. The red symbolises sacrifice; giving his life in service. The blue Sapphire; a diadem of eternal glory given to him in acknowledgement of his advancement and his armour is his wisdom and unfailing trust in God. 

We choose our life path by how we walk in this life, and by the choices we make. Protecting ourselves is vital as there is always both darkness and light around us. 

This knight clings to that which God hath bidden him to observe. He seeks His grace, and therefore treadeth His straight Path. This is his growing strength. This straight Path adorns him with the virtues he needs, such as truthfulness, humility, perseverance, grace, fortitude, forgiveness, love and so much more. This knight assists the world of humanity to free themselves from the darkness of ignorance and stand in the true glory of who we truely are.

This painting speaks to a topic that is often avoided, it speaks to the many people that have traveled this heart wrenching journey and are often very alone in this pain, a pain that is deep and tears at the very fabric of life, the pain of abortion. Hathor - Mother Goddess

Hathor: Goddess of the sky, dance, love, beauty, joy, motherhood, foreign lands, music and fertility... I asked myself before beginning this painting, “What if I don’t know who I’m painting?”…Well this was one of those paintings…I thought I was painting Cleopatra because of the Egyptian features, but when I researched about her, it didn’t match up. Then I found out about Hathor - an ancient Egyptian Goddess, and it was speaking exactly what the painting had showed me. So I asked the energy, and yes! Wow - Thank you. I didn’t know there was a Goddess that represented all these amazing things. I knew from the outset that this painting was powerfully femimine, as the colour was a vibrant fuchsia and was painted in smooth circles going to the left of the centre. A New Dawn

Tonight, lying in bed after an exceptionally and strangely difficult evening of parenting with my three boys and my husband, I lay beside the boys after our prayers and as they went to sleep, I started seeing a vision in my mind. I saw many sketches of wolves with yellow eyes, snarling and aimed in one direction (east). Then I saw over characterised european faces, one after the other - quite grotesque looking. Then I saw side profiles of brown bears facing west, standing and stacked like packed dominos with their top arms reaching forward, then they started to fall backwards together, all as one, and their spirits started rising into the heavens. The spirit which was translucent black in colour, made a beautiful almost geometric but lose mandala formation in the sky, then the ribbons of spirit came down and touched the earth.
